After doing a stint as a Teacher and Sub-Editor in a Hindi Daily was
selected in Public Relations Deptt. Punjab in the year 1962 . Service allocated to
Himachal Pradesh in 1966. After serving for a long period of 34 years in Punjab &
Himachal Pradesh in various capacities retired as Joint Director from Information and
Public Relations Deptt. , Govt. of Himachal Pradesh on 31st August 1996 . Served as
Manager, Hind Samachar Group of Papers , Ambala Cantt. in year 1998 , A poet and a writer
occasionally contributes articles, features on different subjects . Besides being a
founder member of Himotkarsha Sahitya Sanskriti Avem Jan Kalyan Parishad Una,
Himachal Lok Sahitya Parishad Dharamsala and Patron of Yash Pal Sahitya Parishad Nadaun,
is Chief Editor of Himotkarsha Patrika ( a tri- monthly Hindi Magazine) also. A collector
of books and material pertaining to freedom struggle of country.
